Palace warned Sarah Ferguson’s tell-all biography would be ‘harmful’ | Royal | News

Mr Fitzwilliams continued: “I honestly suspect that if she ever did, I mean, what harm it might do. It could be very harmful.

“Because, of course, any book written by an insider is harmful, but the whole point of an autobiography is that you want to be believed.”

He added: “And I think that there would be very considerable problems in believing it – believing anything that she said, other than provable facts.”

Back in 2011, Sarah described Jeffrey Epstein as a “steadfast, generous and supreme friend” before later apologising for her comments after the release of emails obtained by the Daily Mail.

In the wake of the reports, a spokesperson for Sarah explained that the email was written in response to threats from Epstein, who had allegedly planned to sue her for defamation after she publicly distanced herself from him, calling her involvement a “gigantic error of judgment.”

Following this, and given Prince Andrew’s own association with Epstein, discussions were reportedly held with the King earlier this month.
