The trailer for the new Anaconda movie starring Jack Black and Paul Rudd has dropped online this afternoon.
The sixth outing in the giant snake franchise is a meta-reboot in which the main characters seek to remake the 1997 film.
In case you’ve not heard of it, the original action classic stars Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube and Owen Wilson as a documentary film crew travelling on a boat down the Amazon.
That is, until a mysterious snake hunter (Jon Voight) tricks them into pursuing a 40-foot-long Anaconda, who might be a tad hungry.
Despite mixed reviews upon release, the action-adventure horror was a box office success and has since become a 1990s cult classic. The film also co-stars Eric Stoltz, Jonathan Hyde and Danny Trejo.
Anaconda (1997) is streaming now on Netflix in the UK and Anaconda (2025) is out in cinemas this Christmas.
