Luxury £43 facial serum reduced to £24 targets 16 signs of ageing

Shoppers are snapping up a high-performance anti-ageing serum from a luxury skincare brand, now nearly half price in the winter sale. Originally £43, the serum is reduced to £24.45 in a limited-time deal at Amazon, offering shoppers 43% off their purchase.

This serum is said to target 16 visible signs of ageing while boosting collagen for firmer, smoother-looking skin. Vichy Liftactiv Collagen Specialist 16 Bonding Serum is a lightweight, anti-ageing face serum designed to target fine lines and improve skin firmness. 

Powered by ‘co-bonding technology’, it combines rhamnose, peptides, and maitake to smooth, refine, and strengthen the skin. The serum helps enhance facial contours, improve texture, and leave the skin looking brighter and more even-toned, while supporting the skin barrier for long-lasting softness and suppleness, the brand says. 

To use it, apply a few drops to a clean, dry face morning and night, avoiding the eyelids, and follow with a usual moisturiser for best results. However, if this isn’t the one for everyone, there is also the  Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Serum 30ml for £89 on LookFantastic.

This is described as being a ‘hydrating serum’ that smooths and firms the skin over time. A slightly cheaper option is the No7 Future Renew Serum 50ml for £47.95 at Boots. 

This has been rated a high 4.2 out of five stars from more than 2,000 reviews. The product is ‘clinically proven to reverse visible signs of skin damage’, the site says, and it contains pepticology, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and niacinamide. 

The Vichy Liftactiv Collagen has been rated a high 4.6 out of five stars from almost 500 reviews, however. One person said: “My skin feels soft and supple – I really love this product!”

Another commented: “Love Vichy collagen, great texture, sinks beautifully into your skin, have dry combination skin and no reactions, leaves my skin soft.” While a third simply said: “Very good product.”

A handful of others disagreed, however, as one said: “I’ve been using the Collagen Serum for some time now. It feels good but I can’t really tell if it makes a difference.”

A second wrote: “You have to see the effects for a long time, but already from the first days of use the skin is more radiant. I recommend it.”
