Jones Road has kicked off its first-ever site-wide sale to mark Black Friday, and as part of it, they’ve cut the price of their grey eyebrow pencil, which has been called “perfect” by shoppers. The beauty brand, founded by cosmetic artist Bobbi Brown, specialises in makeup that gives a natural look, and their eyebrow pencil comes in a range of natural colours.
These aren’t just your usual blondes, reds and brunettes, but also include a grey for anyone who’s silver-haired or transitioning to a grey-haired look.
While the pencil is usually £24, shoppers can currently snag it for £20.40 as part of the sale. And the more you spend at Jones Road, the bigger the discount. Pick up one item for 10% off, spend over £55 for 15% off, and spend over £75 for 20% off.
Last year, it became a sell-out product and has since earned a 4.6 out of five-star customer rating, with multiple reviews praising the grey shade. “It is hard to find a good grey, but this one is perfect and goes on beautifully. Love it,” said one shopper.
Another added: “Nice shade to complement my grey hair.”
Jones Road say the pencil is designed to add dimension and fullness. They recommend using it in upward strokes and pairing it with a spoolie brush for fluffy-looking brows. The pencil can also be used to fill in any thinning patches.
Rather than being a thin pencil, it has a chunkier design to help with control, and the texture is waxy to keep things looking natural. However, one shopper did mention the cap was too tight: “I might like it if I could get the cap off. Is there a secret?”
Another added: “Goes on smooth, lasts throughout the day. Great colour for me, a blonde transitioning to grey. But it is a large, thick pencil, and I’m having to search for an extra-large sharpener today. But overall, I’m very happy with this pencil.”
