How to get sold-out Lulu Guinness tote bag for under £5

Designer Lulu Guinness has caused a stir in the fashion world with her Lulu Lip Flurry of Kisses Tote Bag, made from recycled plastic bottles and adorned with the brand’s iconic lip motif in a bold, playful style.

Customers have described the bag’s design as “beautiful,” with some even saying it makes a perfect gift. The bag, which previously sold out, is back online. While this design typically retails on the brand’s website for £20, we’ve found a clever way to get it for under £5 when purchasing it through deals website TopCashback, saving just over £15.

This comes as TopCashback is offering new members a £15 sign-up bonus when they spend a minimum of £15. Combined with the cashback received from the purchase, the tote bag costs £4.83 for new members. This beats the price on offer at Waitrose, which sees the bag selling for £15.

The bag has a spacious design, which means it’s as handy for running to the shops as it would be for use as a work bag (it can fit a 16″ laptop), or a weekend bag. For ease of carrying, it comes equipped with two handles: a short one measuring 8cm and a long one measuring 31cm.

However, a John Lewis shopper pointed out a potential drawback, noting that the bag appears to lack a fastening, though on a positive note they still commented: “This product looks good, good straps, good size, nice design.”

The bag rivals costlier designer options, including the GANNI Leopard Denim Easy Shopper Tote Bag, which costs £145, and Marc Jacobs’ Jacquard The Medium Tote Bag, which sells for  £350.
