Just because the excitement of Christmas Day has come and gone, doesn’t mean the opportunity for a particularly memorable gift to be given to that special someone has ceased. For those planning to pop a certain question before the year is through can make use of Ernest Jones’ end of year sale, in which a sparkling, diamond ring has had £6,000 knocked off its price.
The Engagement Ring Platinum 1ct Total Diamond Ring has been reduced from £10,500 to £4,500 on the Ernest Jones website.
This stunning ring is the perfect token of affection and it has been crafted from platinum sourced from Canadian mines, giving it a bright, silver hue.
It features a standout solitaire brilliant cut diamond, which is held in place by traditional 4-claws. But that’s not all.
The solitaire diamond is set inbetween a row of sparkling stones, which have a minimum F colour and SI2 clarity – the ‘purest of their kind’, notes the brand. This ring, impressively, has 21 diamonds, making it a real showstopper.
This particular engagement ring comes in a range of UK sizes from H (14.65mm inside diameter and 46.02 inside circumference) to Z (21.89mm and 68.77mm), although it’s important noting that a number are out of stock.
Thankfully, Ernest Jones has a range of expensive engagement rings whose price has been drastically dropped in its sale.
For example, the Engagement Ring 18ct White Gold Round Halo 1ct Eternal Diamond Ring is now £3,000 down from £7,499. Crafted taking inspiration from the stars, the diamond ring has a solitaire centerpiece diamond with a unique star cut that boasts 89 facets, making it truly sparkle.
Framed by a round halo featuring more diamonds, the white gold ring has a geometric four claw Venus setting and has an I Colour and SI2 Clarity stone.
For something a little more affordable, the De Beers Engagement Ring 18ct White Gold & Platinum Solitaire Princess Cut 1ct Diamond Ring is on sale for £2,100 down from £5,250 – a saving of £3,150 – and is a little more dainty.
Hailed as a ‘timeless classic’, the ring is crafted from 18ct white gold and features 41 diamonds – a square Princess-Cut shape that is set inbetween two rows of clear diamonds on either side.
Should these diamond rings fall short – either due to style or price – Goldsmith’s Platinum 0.80cttw Oval Diamond Halo Engagement Ring is currently on sale from £3,250 to £1,750. With equal amount of sparkle, the ring has a delightful round brilliant diamond oval cut with an SI2 clarity on a platinum band.
Meanwhile, H. Samuel has a deal on a bridal set – setting its shoppers up with both an engagement ring and matching wedding band – for £999 down from £1,399.
However, customers who have purchased Ernest Jones engagement rings have shared their experiences on Trustpilot, reports Wales Online, with one delighted reviewer noting: “We recently purchased an engagementring from Earnest Jones, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The ring is absolutely stunning.”
Regarding the jeweller’s standards, another user commended Ernest Jones and said: “Great service today when trying on wedding rings, helpful advice from Adam. Smooth and quick process!”
Although not all were 100% happy, with some users offering constructive feedback, as one pointed out: “Good website with clear illustrations and easy to check size and place order. Would have liked the facility to compare two rings side by side.”
Another jewellery fan noted: “Good selection of rings, good range of prices, user friendly website, the way it will look is great! Plus, the customer service I received was splendid. The only ‘downside’ is that the website started my search from the beginning whenever I clicked on a ring to view it and came back out. A ‘back to search’ button would’ve been helpful (unless I missed it).”
