The latest edition from the creators of Wallace & Gromit, Vengeance Most Fowl has already become a favourite amongst fans of the British claymation franchise since it was released last year. The film follows Gromit as he works to save Wallace from one of his latest inventions, a gnome that has taken over his mind.
Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit

Arguably the better of the two Sister Act movies, this one follows Delores once again becoming Mary Clarence to teach music at the school as she tries to save ot from closure.
Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical
1pm – BBC One
This 2022 musical is an adaptation of the sell-out stage show and has been praised by audiences since its release. It stars big names like Emma Thompson and Stephen Graham, and is sure to entertain viewers of all ages on Christmas Day.
White Christmas
1pm – BBC Two
This is an absolute Christmas classic, and even though it was released back in 1954, it remains a favourite for many, especially fans of classic cinema. It stars Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye, and follows two singers who recruit two women to put on a show to help their old army commander’s failing inn stay in business.
Evil Under the Sun
3.10pm – BBC Two
This 1982 Agatha Christie adaptation follows Inspector Poirot as he investigates the murder of a famous Broadway actress on a vacation island.
Frozen II
3.10pm – Channel 4
The second instalment in the Frozen franchise airs on TV today for those who don’t have a Disney+ subscription. The film was a smash hit when it was released in 2019, and once again follows the adventures of sisters Anna and Elsa.
Raiders of the Lost Ark
3.10pm – ITV1
The first in the Indiana Jones movie series, this film is often shown around Christmas. Jones has to seize a biblical artefact called the Ark of the Covenant while fighting against a troop of Nazis.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
3.30pm – Channel 5
If you fancy some fantasy and action on Christmas Day, switch over to Channel 5 as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, the first movie in the beloved franchise, at 3.30pm.
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
5.50pm – Channel 4
This one has become a classic Christmas film since its release in the 90s, and it’s a regular instalment of Christmas festivities to this day. it is showing in the late afternoon, perfect for after Christmas dinner.
Jaws

The classic shark film, starring Richard Dreyfuss and Roy Schneider, airs just after 9pm today when (hopefully) all of the kids have gone to bed.
