First Direct is enticing customers to switch to one of its current account by offering a £175 incentive and those who register via a specific website will also receive a £25 Amazon voucher.

The deal, which includes the cash offer for switchers and the voucher for those who sign up through Uswitch, is available to new customers who utilise the Current Accounts Switching Service (CASS).

The deadline for this offer is June 8. To be eligible for the £175 bonus, new customers must fulfil certain criteria.

In addition to using the CASS, they must deposit a minimum of £1,000 into the account within 45 days of its opening. The CASS switch must also be finalised within 45 days and include at least two direct debits or standing orders.

Customers are required to register for and access online banking within 45 days, and they must use their new debit card a minimum of five times during that period.
